Sandy Padilla is the APAC Head of Research, responsible for overseeing the research capabilities of the APAC region’s business. She, along with the team she manages, provides thought leadership, advises on fund strategy and supports investment teams in asset selection.
Sandy, who is based in Melbourne, previously served as a Senior Director within the APAC Research team, with a focus on Pacific markets. Sandy joined CBRE Investment Management in 2010 in Los Angeles, where she served as a Director in the Global Research team. Subsequent to her role in Global Research, she served on the Portfolio Team for one of the firm’s U.S. open-end core funds and was based in New York. Sandy has been involved in various capacities in real estate research since 2001.
Sandy holds a Master’s in Business Administration and Master’s in Urban Planning from Columbia University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from Stanford University and was a Fulbright Scholar in Spain. While at Columbia Business School, she completed international business study tours in China and India.

Adam is also former chairman of technology incubator Papercloud Ventures and director/co-founder of global ed-tech business Vivi International Ltd.
Josh Chye leads the Melbourne HLB Mann Judd Tax Consulting division. With a passion for understanding his clients’ commercial drivers, he is able to provide practical tax solutions in order to both solve problems and identify opportunities.
Josh’s professional tax background of seventeen years extends across working in the tax consulting divisions of reputable international second tier and big four firms which gives Josh the unique advantage of advising clients across all sectors and sizes from start-ups to foreign government funds.
